Alex
Dr. Alex
Veterinarian
Dr Alex is another amazing veterinarian providing care at the O’Halloran Hill Vet Centre. She’s South East born and bred! Alex grew up on a farm near a small country town. After working for a few years in a mixed animal practice, she moved back to the big smoke. Alex loves surgery and enjoys the variety of being a GP. She’s s kept busy with her chocolate Labrador, Charlie (who mostly knows the difference between what is edible and what isn’t) and is the proud aunt to Sierra, a German Shepherd (who is scared of his own shadow). Alex’s passions include Harry Potter, cross stitch, playing netball, kayaking and getting outdoors. She loves watching football, both SAAFL and AFL and she is a mad Adelaide Crows supporter; if the game is on, you know where Alex will be!

Being brought up with motorbikes, Karen got her licence when she turned 30. She loves the feeling of freedom riding the bike brings.

Alison is our centre manager for both practices. With a love for learning, she has far too many qualifications, certificates and degrees to mention. She started with us in 2000 and is our longest-standing team member. Ali gets the most satisfaction from seeing individuals within our team grow and reach their unknown potential. She doesn’t give up easily! She has a Labrador mix called Harper and a domestic long-haired cat named Bumblebee. Oh, and she’s a keen DIYer with a passion for trying all her saved Pinterest projects!
Grace
Grace
Cert IV Vet Nurse / Nurse Coordinator
Born in ACT, Grace moved to Adelaide in 2007. Grace’s passion for animals started at an early age, being surrounded by Golden Retrievers, rabbits and even her very own Goat! Visiting a vet hospital open day at age 7, Grace was inspired to get into the industry. She obtained her nursing certificate in 2013.
Grace loves the variety of being an “allrounder” nurse. The most satisfying part of her career is being able to help clients and patients in their time of need.
Grace spent 4 months in Darjeeling, India as a shelter volunteer. It was the most eye-opening and rewarding experience of her life. Keeping her busy at home are two exotic short hairs, Theodore, AKA “Grumpy cat (he is more dog than a cat), Beatrix (little miss bossy.... she yells a lot!) and recently acquired Pippa, the Pomeranian cross Chihuahua. If it shines, sparkles, is covered in glitter, or is associated with makeup... Grace has it, wants it or NEEDS it!
Jordi
Jordi
Cert IV Veterinary Nurse
Born and raised in SA, Jordi spent most of her childhood with dogs around and knew since she was little that she wanted to grow up to take care of them.
After completing her Bachelor of Animal Science in 2017 and a bit unsure of which life direction to take, she decided to apply for her Certificate in Vet Nursing, not knowing she would fall head over heels in love with the course only two weeks in.
She has a passion for all things puppy, and when she’s not helping clients with new puppy questions and stealing puppy cuddles, you will find her in the frontline, ensuring all our clients feel cared for. Jordi loves a chat, and she is passionate about keeping pets healthy.
At home, she believes feathered pets bring just as much love to your life as furry ones. She is currently kept on her toes by her sassy cockatiel Nina and bourkes parrot Rosalina, and when she’s not at home playing video games or baking, she’s probably camping out with her Medieval Reenactment Club at one of the local medieval fairs.
Sandi
Sandi
Cert IV Vet Nurse
Born and raised in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, Sandi started her animal care journey volunteering at the Adelaide Zoo and RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter. Sandi’s passion for animal care led her to study animal studies focusing on wildlife and companion animals and then completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Upon completion of her studies, Sandi started her career in the animal industry and joined our team in 2021.
Sandi spends her spare time exploring different walking trails with her Chihuahua Chewy and enjoying leisure time at home with Cookie, a domestic short hair, and her beloved partner Daniel.

Through work experience at O’Halloran Hill, she ‘Wowed’ the team so much that she was offered a nursing position. Megan’s passion for outpatient nursing developed from her love of helping patients and developing bonds with her clients. She aspires to study in the field of compassion nursing. The biggest nerd of the team, Megan’s obsessions include Supernatural, Batman, Star Wars (original trilogy) and Harry Potter (if there’s a collectable, she will buy it!).
