Here at Pets Health, we are passionate about providing you compassionate, reassuring veterinary care. Our goal is to provide you with a caring service based on honest advice from experienced vets.
You may have heard in the news that the veterinary sector is still dealing with the effects of COVID-19. As an essential service, we have remained open through all COVID restrictions and lockdowns. At the same time, there has been a surge in pet ownership, meaning we're seeing more and more patients.
The rising demand and global shortage of veterinary staff, mostly due to state and international border limitations, has compounded the workload of our healthcare team. Despite these obstacles, our dedicated crew has been doing everything possible to provide excellent care to you and your pets.
Every day, veterinary professionals face many challenging decisions and circumstances. People join the veterinary field because they want to help animals and, like other healthcare professions, they are subject to compassion fatigue. We must care for those who care for you, knowing how difficult and draining it is to provide this type of service, both in terms of resources and mental health.
To allow our team to continue to provide you the care and reassurance you deserve and expect, we are making changes to our trading hours, effective 15th November 2021. Our practice will now be open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We will be closed on weekends and public holidays.
We will also be changing how we work with you. Our experienced nurses and support personnel will be more involved with your pet’s health care than ever before. This means we can continue to be available for you when you need us most.
We thank you for your ongoing compassion, kindness, and understanding. The love you show goes a long way to help our team continue to help you.
From your healthcare team at Pets Health Vet.
